Maya found a passion for social media and photography through Film Studies, Photography and Drama while she was at school. She also has a love of live music and goes to many concerts - so getting to combine the two with Elvis 2 Elton seemed like an amazing opportunity to do something she is really interested in and passionate about, where she can also utilise her creative skills.
Maya is a very sociable and talkative person, so she is really excited to be given the opportunity to meet and talk to new people while promoting the E2E brand! Be sure to say hello to her when you see her at all our gigs.
Susie Q – Dance Host, Instructor & DJ
Interval Dancing
Susie Q brings energy, warmth, and a love of music to the dance floor, completing the evening’s entertainment for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Summer Ball. A well-known local social dance organiser, instructor, and DJ, Susie has built a reputation for creating fun, inclusive dance experiences for all abilities.
With a background in leading seated exercise classes and current work in strength and balance rehabilitation and falls prevention programmes, Susie has a natural ability to encourage confidence and participation. Her friendly, approachable style ensures that everyone—from complete beginners to seasoned dancers—feels comfortable stepping onto the floor.
A passionate lover of live music, Susie is happiest when dancing and sharing that joy with others. During the interval between Acts 1 and 2 of the Elvis 2 Elton show, she will host a lively 45-minute dance session, guiding guests through a selection of classic dances set to well-loved hits.
The dance set is thoughtfully designed to be inclusive of all dance styles and abilities, welcoming those who enjoy Lindy Hop, swing dance, rock ‘n’ roll, and social dancing. It will include line dances—often known within the swing and Lindy Hop community as “strolls”—alongside partner dances, creating a relaxed and sociable atmosphere where guests can join in as much or as little as they wish.
Whether guests choose to take part in every dance or simply soak up the vibrant atmosphere, Susie’s session promises to keep the energy high and the dance floor buzzing.
